Just coming back in the car. Good performance first half. Remember hardly anything from the second, was clouded out by blue smoke and sang milk man related songs to Sylvain Distin. The players thought it was amusing, the ones who went off in the first half that is. They were standing in the corner watching the game. Boss little night. Finished 4-1. Missed Mirallas free kick and there goal though.

But then I see this and think I'm wrong. Looks like a man's chin there.

Pah. I think it's because he rarely looks up, he's always facing the ground so the small chin comes from the perspective.

That's it, you've got it. His head is tilted ballwards at all times. Chin becomes neck.

He reminds me of a dog who's done wrong, the way he looks at people. He's obviously not a dog and a very talented footballer but he can barely make eye contact and looks like he's about to break down at any point.

I swear every time Seamus got the ball he was in a right wing position. Covers so much ground... Some top floated crosses. Nice assist.

hopefully junior will be given time against blackburn to give us a better idea whether he could be an answer. Seen him kick the ball away furiously after the whistle, think it was because he had 2 touches of the ball and cocked them both up. Lundstram is also an option, but i would prefer a more experienced backup than those two.

I think Lundstram's off on loan to Watford isn't he?

I don't know if you've ever been to Belgium, but that's a national trait. Just as you describe it.

They are a confused people, torn between the French, Dutch and Germans.

I've been but didn't notice. Now you say that it's always going to be in my mind. You've typecasted an entire nation there.
