Hahaha unrelated events like the weather?

We are talking about Everton selling a year my talent here not an unrelated event.

Perhaps the reason most think you are a meff is that you fail to see the context behind the sale, and the differences in the situations. BUt who am i to get in the way of your posting. You are knighted after all.

Players come and go all the time. It just doesn't happen here. I don't see the point of worrying about it, just get on with it.

Lookman has played about ten games for us, done nothing of note apart from a nice moment in his debut and we are making a smallish profit on a bloke who doesnt want to be here.

Sod him. Good luck to the lad, it's a brave move for him compared to many easier options out there. He wont be missed as we didn't get a chance to miss him. He could be the next Dale Jennings or Oliver Burke for all we know.

Not really bothered, obvious he wants out, move on, not even bothered to have any hard feeling towards him, its not like he was one of our stars, just get a good fee thats all

Easily the biggest snake in the history of Everton this lad

Very different situations there mate.
Stones and Lukaku were hugely sought after players who were first choice for Everton and earned themselves moves to clubs in the Champions League who we forced to pay huge amounts for at the time. Any efforts to keep them were futile because the clubs coming in for them had huge pulling power.

Lookman is different. He's not an established first team player, he's never been happy since he got here, and there isn't a queue of bigger clubs lining up for him. He's absolutely desperate to play first team football seemingly, and he's obviously already had a great experience at the very club that have come in for him. They're not a bigger club really, and can't outmuscle us financially, but the player is dead set on leaving and it isn't healthy for him or the club to keep him. Added to which we can't promise him first team football because we've just spend £35m on a player who plays in his position.

This has nothing to do with the ambition of Everton. It's a simple case of a player desperately wanting guaranteed first team football and for some reason not liking the lifestyle he has in Liverpool.

Why on earth would that set any alarm bells ringing?
I agree with all your assessment, but looking at how the club is run alarm bells are ringing. We have the business savvy of a benefits cheat who won the lottery. “The project” is more qpr than man city

I’d keep him personally, lad could to be a star if he made the right moves and buckled down for a season, bad move for him and us if I’m honest.

With his attitude he may never make it though, bad case of Barkley’s.

A shame this. We all know he’ll be playing for West Ham in a years time. Only the lad himself that doesn’t.
