A sell on would be nice he will be worth alot more very soon. A shame but hopefully Silva can show we are a place that nurtures young talent again.

Yes, Koeman far from blameless, but still. I thought the loan at the time was a good move, but the way Allardyce spoke meant that as soon as Leipzig treated him with a tiny bit of respect he was probably always likely to want out.

Ironically Lookman was the only player that could have possibly saved Allardyce’s job.

Thing is? It’s not his loss though mate.

Neither has it been Lukaku’s, Barkleys or Stones loss.

If him leaving doesn’t set off alarm bells in your head then I worry for you and anyone else in our fanbase with the attitude of “it’s not always greener” the thing is now it is.

Mate he doesn’t want to stay, what else can you do?
 
Disappointed but not gutted by this. The lad doesn't want to be here, we're going to make a tidy profit on a player who has played very little for us, and we've just signed someone who is going to start in his position. But I do rate the lad and it's a shame we won't see him fulfil his potential with us

Hmm, that manager is gone. There's got to be other reasons that the kid still does not want to be here. I'm not sure we'll ever know what they are and I hesitate to guess. But on the other hand, I am willing to blame it all on Lookman at this point. After all, this is the internet and blaming him here costs me nothing.

I'll be annoyed if we don't get more than 20m for him, but I'll also be annoyed if we keep the little snake.

Think it's likely less that he doesn't want to be here, and more just that he prefers to be there.

Reasonable enough, given his form for them

Great point. Sometimes I forgot that everything that happens is because the club is incompetent and the board are all frauds and everyone who doesn't agree is a sunshine-pumping dupe. Thank you for mentioning this in every post you make.
 
No idea if we'll regret this but hard to blame the lad. If I had Mirralas and Bolassie stealing a living and ahead of me, I'd probably do the same.
