If we do sell him, it has to be on our terms. I’ll be disappointed in the lad too seeing as he’s been assured he’s very much a first teamer now. Destroy them with every sell on clause under the sun. No less than £25m either.

Aye but Koeman is also long gone. Situation is different now - with both the manager and DoF saying he's part of their plans.
From the outside it's easy to believe that but when you've had two managers screw you already but been treated well the other place i get it

We bought for £11m and are selling for £25m?

Anyway, really, really disappointed to see him go. Obviously had his heart set on the move, but it's a shocker all round really. Sam Allardyce's legacy, ladies and gents.

Not just Allardyce BT, wasnt given much ( if any game time ) before fat head MK1 ( Koeman ) got the boot.

Sometimes it just doesn't work out for whatever reason. If he wants to go, gwt a good price and move him out and get someone better who wants to be here in

Seems a bit of overreaction from him to be sulking like this but at least we ain't selling to another PL club, That would kill me.

Bye.

Good if this transfer saga is nearing an end. The team doesn't need the additional drama of a sulking starlet and Brands needs to focus on incomings, not drawn-out haggling with Leipzig.

It was Allardyce who slagged him off after he decided to join Leipzig on loan over Derby, mate.

It was Allardyce who refused to play him when we needed that extra bit of impetus in January.

Yes, Koeman far from blameless, but still. I thought the loan at the time was a good move, but the way Allardyce spoke meant that as soon as Leipzig treated him with a tiny bit of respect he was probably always likely to want out.

I think he probably wanted out beforehand mate but of course Allardyce wouldn't help. I'm surprised we aint lost about 20k worth of fans and 15 more players because of that fat slug....until you remember half of the crap we have on our books are on about 80k+ a week so have no intention of leaving if they can help it.

If he wants to go, let him go.... But on a 1 year loan deal, not a permanent transfer... If he has a great season away, his value goes up and atleast we get a financial gain from all this... Right now 20m is peanuts in today's market...
