Ademola Lookman

What I don't get is this;

If Lookman has been getting his head down and working, why haven't the club come out and rubbished the "he refused to train" rumours?

It would take 5 seconds

"Despite reports to the contrary, we can confirm that Ademola Lookman has been attending training sessions and giving his all. The manager is happy with his contributions. Ademola remains part of the managers plans and we have great hopes for him at Everton"
In fairness Mikey it has always been the clubs stance to stay quiet regarding rumours of this type. The one last year regarding Davies/Niasse was much worse but the club kept said nothing.

I'm sure if Marco is asked the question at the next presser (is that today sometime?) he'll give some sort of update. he doesn't seem one to avoid the issue if asked.

I doubt he`ll ever openly criticise him tbh, even if he is behaving like a bell end.

I think it`ll be more a case of " what he doesn`t say " rather than what he says.

Lookman is on strike trying to force a move before deadline day.

Refused to travel and whisper is he won’t turn up to training this week either - like a Courtois situation.

Bin him off at this point - thinks he is much better than he is.

You need to earn your first team place in the premier league, not be handed it because you have a little sulk.

Idiot

Thats complete BS mate as now proven. Yes he might want off, he probably does but he hasnt gone on 'strike' and not turned up for training. Now you have all sorts of idiot fans abusing him

I do think we need questions answering him because he's been seen in training yet not played or been in the squads. A simple Will Ademola be in the squad for Southampton will do for me.

Do you know what, I have had enough of whinging players, subsequent managers have had an issue with him, its not a coincidence. I'm guessing his attitude suggests he should be a nailed on starter but clearly he's not. The times I have seen him he doesn't track back and tends to sulk and moan on pitch. If he wants off then let him go, hopefully MS can get a tune out of him and give him a few lessons in hard work and endeavor / attitude.
