I think that’s what’s currently holding him back. Ability wise what he showed on loan last season, he is at least worthy of a place on our bench. Maybe his attitude pre-season suggests he isn’t.

I will say the German league is a lesser league which he played in, when he comes on as a sub he looks good but for 90 mins in an Everton shirt he aint impressed yet, we have better players around him now so that may help

yeah but we would of finished higher in the German league with that dross last year. don't forget prom sternest league in the world. every team in the premier is capable of beating every other team

Silva said Lookman wasn't injured for the game at Wolves last Saturday, he just decided not to include him in the squad as he can only choose eighteen players, maybe Lookman will be sold before the transfer window closes although I hope he stays he has it in him to be a very good player for Everton, it's up to him, as stated elsewhere on this thread talent is not enough, you need application and temperament to go with it, has Lookman got more than a lot of talent.?
