Premier league is big on hype but short on overall quality. To think we could finish top half despite playing garbage for the majority of the season beggars belief. Even in the Europa we were embarrassed by Atalanta who finished 7th in serie A days it all.

Why would you want that?

There is no evidence that he isn't turning up/putting the work in in training. I'd rather hold on to our best prospects, thanks.

If he really doesn't want to be here then if an acceptable bid comes in, he'll be gone. Other than that, I'm confused as to why you'd want us to actively ship him out?

Ralf Rangnick: "We're still in talks over Ademola Lookman - we want him back and he wants to come".

He doesn't want to play for us Toff. Aren't you sick of having players who don't want to play for us? I don't mind that people don't want to sign for us, far from it- i just don't want us to have players who actively want to leave.

There is always someone who doesn't want to be there. We are wealthy enough now to just ship them out. I have no patience for people like Lookman anymore. Might be just me but that's how I see it.

Maybe as he's had next to zero minutes in pre-season he's just not fit enough yet?

I haven't once heard anything direct from Lookman saying he wants to go so id rather keep him

That quote was from six weeks ago, mate. Since then we've insisted he is part of the plans.

Lookman has not said anything either way. He is training, he is part of the squad. He wasn't selected on Saturday for whatever reason.
 
The stumbling block if we decide to let him go is the sell on fee % Charlton will take - His attitude when coming on as sub was awful - things can change - Silva will stand no messing if he is out of the squad as a punishment then fine imo!
