yes, i think you've obviously fallen for the sky hype train. just cos paul merson and phil pinnochio say its great doesnt make it true.
I don’t t know about the hype train, but although the PL is a fast, exciting league, not sure it’s any better or worse than the Bundesliga and certainly La Liga. That also still makes it one of the best leagues in the world. Just different.

Meh- I think the top 6 are more competitive with each other than any of the other leagues' equivalents.

Disagree, City and bayern ran away with their leagues, the other 5 of top 6 in Germany were just as competitive with each other as in England.

On topic: Lookman on the bench tmrw hopefully

I think Bernard may be on the bench tomorrow, Zouma probably will start and that means somebody dropping out from last week apart altogether from what happens with Lookman.
I can't see any player making the 18 unless they have fully bought into the Silva project , it would leave others questioning why they should be bothered.

If anyone drops off the bench it’d be Sandro.

"Marco Silva on Ademola Lookman and Jonjoe Kenny: “Last week was my technical decision to leave them out. They are fit for tomorrow’s game.”
:coffee:

Hopefully if Lookman is on the bench and gets up for a warm up he gets a good reception
I've no doubt he will. The Goodison crowd is always different to the Internet mob. I remember the fantastic reception for Lukaku after his statement for not signing his new contract. Similarly Barkley after his "getting flattened" episode.

Lookman also got a really good reception against Valencia when he came on. The fans want him to stay. They know booing him will have the opposite effect.

Imagine not getting on the bench before 4 of our deadline day first teams were available.

He’s as good as gone.

You must not remember the Anichibe and Schneiderlin games.

I agree, my own viewpoint is that each league has good aspects and bad aspects about it and therefore i don't think there is a 'best league' in the world as such.

Let`s see what happens if he`s on the bench and get`s some game time.

Has a go and put`s a shift in > staying.

Lollops around and does nothing > sulking and wants to go.

I`d suggest that if the latter happens the crowd would be fully justified in roundly booing him.
