I assumed because he hasn't featured, with Bernard to come in as well

Even DCL got on ahead of him

Surplus to Requirements is Kevin Mirallas being told to stay away fom the first team before being sent out on loan.

Not being told you're a part of the club's present and future before being named on the bench for a league game.

Remember all that circumstantial evidence saying Mina was going to Utd? "Jose needs a cb, linked to Mina heavily, obviously Mina wanted to go to Utd ..." I wouldn't put too much faith in circumstantial evidence as the one piece of concrete evidence I could point to is "he's our present and our future".

We`ll see mate, but as @Connor says, I reckon it`s a pretty safe bet to say that he`ll be off once Leizpig hit the magic figure with their snail like bidding process.

Considering we don`t have to sell him / don`t want to sell him, bidding in increments doesn`t exactly scream that they want him no mater what.

It`s making them look like bad scruffy minge bags.

Oh let's see the times he got proper gametime. Do you not consider what he did, 5 goals and 4 assists in 11 games for a team that in 17/18 would've beaten us 10-0, as proving himself? Because if not you've either never watched RBL or you're holding some weird grudge against him.

I dont think he has shone in the games he has played for us to be honest.

Yeah he did alright for Liepzig. It hardly makes him proven though does it? The lad has a lot of potential.

No grudge, just a realist. How can anybody possibly be a "proven" player when he has played about 20 top flight games?

They're now the RS of Germany to me but I reckon Connor has less of a clue than Silva and I don't think Silva was playing the transfer game.

Because of the way you define proven. He's shown the level of skill he has and it's more than enough for this league. Did alright? 5 goals and 4 assists in 11 games is much better than alright that's amazing stats for a wide player. Or are you someone who never watches the Bundesliga and didn't know how much better RBL was than us last year?

I would keep him as i see little benefit to Everton for selling him. I doubt he will get much game time this season as he isnt consistent enough and his head appears to have been turned but his wages would be lower than many of others i would guess and he is a young talent who can definitely improve and could be great in the future. So pointless selling him really if we aren't bothered about his wages. The only people that benefit from selling him now are the club that is buying him and we could possibly lose a great future player which is not beneficial to Everton at all.

Big mistake to sell him. Whilst the squad has improved massively, we lack game changers who could be deployed from the bench. Niasse is one (though God knows how as he is a poor footballer but he seems to make stuff happen), when Bernard gets involved, that will mean either him or one of our current front players will be on the bench. But that's it.

We need more than that to compete on a few fronts.

If we sell him it is because that is in the best interests of Everton, not because we were pressured into it.

The transfer dealings we undertook in the summer show that we now have an excellent DOF who will make sure any deals are for the good of the club.

Lookman will leave if his monetary valuation is higher than his potential footballing one is, taking into account his general attitude and motivation around the club too.

If he stays I will be happy. If he goes then I will be excited to see who we have lined up to replace him in January.
