Hate to sound petty but here it is

Rubbed me the wrong way that when he scored last night he didnt make a single gesture towards our fans

Also same thing when be provided the assist for Calvert Lewin last week

I get the feeling he still has his eyes on the door
Neither did Dowell though. Was just a friendly mate, a few smiles and a couple high fives is all you usually see from players after a goal.

Your right, he should have shown some passion, knee sliding towards the stands , cupping his ears our fans love that some they ..., oh wait ....

Lookman seems to be on the up mentally. His attitude was good last night, considering the nature of the game he didn’t coast and used it as an opportunity to stake a claim. He fact that Silva has commented that he wants him to “play like he trains” implies his attitude on the training pitch has improved as well, which is probably why he’s now getting 30 minute cameos as opposed to 10.

Good for him if he’s managed to turn the corner, and fingers crossed for Everton he has because he’s got potential to be a devastating attacker.

Silva has said Bernard can be effective on the right of midfield as well.

Possible that Lookman could go on the left and Bernard on the right. Would imagine they’d rotate positions at various points in the match as well.

Would be a serious nightmare to mark from the oppositions viewpoint!

I’d definitely like to see this. Walcott and Coleman as a partnership doesn’t work. Bernard would cut inside more than Walcott does to create space for the overlap which should help Coleman’s game. Digne is so good I’d expect him to link up well with pretty much anyone on the left.

Do we drop Bernard for him? I like the early signs from Bernard but if we are totally honest he isn't exactly lighting games on fire. He has his moments but I wouldn't say he is untouchable. Right now neither winger is. Walcott is probably the one to go but he is also most comfortable on the right and the others are not. For me I'd play him over Walcott and shuffle him and Bernard a couple times during the game. But really he needs to get on the pitch. He's too good to lose now and if he isn't playing he will kick off in January.

But hard to play how he trains tho, probably skinning Kenny daily in training and finds it hard to take the piss of a PL right backs come match day

...I wouldn’t get hung up on the lads character, we’re all different and show emotion in different ways. I don’t know him but he doesn’t seem the most demonstrative type. I’d be more interested in his attitude to playing footy and whether turning out for Everton matters to him. That’s what Silva will identify in determinining the young man’s future.

They didn't celebrate because it's a friendly and they were showing respect to an opposition that have worked hard to get there.
Then I would say celebrating a goal against them is more repectful than not doing it. Celebrating something in sports is usually based on how hard that action is to complete, noone celebrates the easy stuff.

Seems to want to get his head down and work which is good. Just hope the January window doesn't unsettle him if Leipzig start mouthing off again
