I’d have Lookman left and Bernard right.

Digne is good enough to link with most players whereas Walcott and Coleman don’t work well together at all. Having Bernard cutting in and creating space for Coleman in theory should work.

Only problem with that theory is you are using Bernard to create space for Coleman instead of digne, this means instead of digne crossing the ball ot is Now Coleman... see the problem?

Lookman will cut in from the left which will create space for Digne. Gomes and Sig are good enough to get the ball out to him. We’re then dangerous from both flanks instead of just one.

When Lookman first arrived he was touted as being two footed. He’s clearly stronger on his right foot , but there have been a number of occasions when he’s shown he’s got a decent left peg too. He’d be comfortable enough playing on the right or left, just needs the game time now at PL to push on to the next level.

Can Bernard play on the right

Can see him playing regularly in the new year. Side is starting to settle to a system and once that has gelled properly it's easier to change the personnel. ;)

he will get his chance, has made a very positive impact which each appearance despite the park end da's insistence he should be sold. Right now for a variety of reasons the balance is right up top, and we don't have enough reasons to change that

I disagree Walcott & Bernard have both missed excellent chances fir us, in the last few games. You need to be under pressure if you’re not performing.

it hasn't gone for bernard in the last two games, and they are and will feel under pressure from Lookman's display. But, bernards willingness to get on the ball and Walcotts desire to make runs off the last man gives us good balance especially if we want to play richarlison up top, that will take a bit more than a few one on ones missed to change. A lot of games coming up and Lookman can play anywhere across the front three, he's going too get his chance and I'm looking forward to it

Lookman is getting more minutes this season and Silva seems to like the kid but its seem this kid had an attitude issue which is improving. Plus coming of the bench is alot of pressure from his shoulders as well as he doesn't look comfortable and confidence on home turf. Bernard needs game time and Walcott is a quality player.
