I am on the pro Walcott side of the fence but I think Lookman has deserved a start for a couple of weeks now.

If he gets his start, which he should, he should be on the left wing - Walcott hasn't done enough for a while now (the same with Bernard since the Leicester game in truth) but if Lookman gets given his chance to shine he should be played where he's most effective, so I'm not so sure about dropping Walcott unless we try out Bernard there. Ideally as Cardiff will sit back we need to have Lookman and Bernard on the pitch as they're the two players the most likely to produce something in little space

Walcott makes some good runs and pops up in good positions but, for whatever reason, he's been a bit off. I feel Lookman deserves a start and Cardiff City is the ideal game for him. He's tricky and explosive, and he'll give us something a little different in our play.

Think he'll be on the bench again, especially since it seems that it may have been touch and go with his fitness. While I think he's shown flashes when he's come on as a sub, I think he'll need to do something really special to dislodge Walcott. Its not the worst experience for him to be coming off the bench and should keep him working hard to improve.
