It's not the first time he's praised him tbf. He did say 'Lookman is the present and future of Everton' in the summer.

But yeh, first time he's said that he's definitely ready.

I don't think he'll start on Sunday, but I'm sure we'll see him on at some stage.
Yeah I meant in terms of playing from the start not never praised him. Lookman is going be a very good player for us and we need silva to do everything going forward to keep him so if that means dropping Walcott then it’s a price definitely worth paying

Someone said it earlier and could not agree more. In final 3rd you just feel like something can happen. Walcott I’m cringing for something to happen

I was big team Walcott at beginning and still am but lack of end product is getting frustrating.

Lookman just can create his own and that opens others up

I am slowly edging towards exactly the same thinking

He's definitely earned the consideration to start but don't see the point in changing the XI right now. Him coming on against the RS at 60' should be ideal. Thought he showed well in last year's derby, too.

I think we are massively hyping up yet another young player here. I don’t think his current ability is anywhere near where some people are suggesting it is. He can only get better however

Walcott creates so much space for Coleman and for gylfi it's pretty unreal. As soon as the midfield line is broken gylfi can look up and Walcott will be doing the out to in run. Defenders drop about 5 yards deeper.

Don't underestimate what Walcott brings to the team

...he’s got to become a player that opposition teams and fans fear. Words won’t make that happen, he needs to make that happen.

Don’t be a complicated footballer, be an effective footballer.
