Lookman is fine cutting in from the left and his tricks are fun and entertaining. But this idea of selling Siggy to replace him with Lookman is pure comedy. Imagine Lookman playing the position Sigurdsson was today? Dear lord help us.

Third best at worst. But Digne and Sigurdsson get a lot of added value from set plays and I think Lookman would too if he took them more.

....as always, he needs to keep his game simple and exploit the space behind the opposition full back or get half a yard and deliver a meaningful cross. I thought he largely did that in his little cameo.

Bottom line is, he needs to be a threat,he needs to get into areas the opposition don’t want him to get into.

He also needs to get the ball in these areas. I felt that Coleman and Gueye did a poor job or supporting him vs Newcastle.

...to be fair, Lookman hasn’t pulled up trees in the last few games. Bernard is brave in possession and works incredibly hard. I can fully understand why he’s first choice against better opposition away from home. Lookman isn’t better than Richarlison on the left or in any position, there’s no doubt about that.
