But it gives pause to consider there's something wrong with the culture, staff and senior players that doesn't provide the mentality, environment and opportunities needed to bring players like Lookman along.

Silva choice to leave him out of the squad was strange.seems bizarre.
Richarlison comes on for Walcott.
If Bernard gets injured or runs out of legs and we're chasing the game you'd think Lookman comes on full of beans and poses a threat.
Instead Silva would of had DCL and Tosun both on (or Davies on with no LW) and the usual desperate shambolic tactics follows.

So either Silva hasn't a clue or there's something going on with Lookman - be nice to know wtf is going on.

He was at first when he went there, he complained about not getting enough chances and started getting moody then got it and went on a bit of a good run.
 
I like Lookman but it's a squad game played over a season. if Richarlison and Gomes can suck up being on the bench then so should Lookman. Playing Walcott was more about insurance and keeping the full back pinned - it worked.

Keep working in training and chances will continue to come; score a couple of goals to nail your place.

Yes i know it to be true, i work with someone who is a Dutch/German football reporter and he did get moody at one point about not having enough chances and he spoke with Rangnick about it, then all of a sudden he went on a run and started to look half decent. I have heard a few things with regards to Lookman but no way am i posting them on here with all his fanboys who just won't even enter into a proper debate.
 
Hopefully some daft Das SPL team will give us our dough back and we can forget this mouthy little dwarf ever played for us.

1 goal in 2 seasons, which means hes even worse than Bolasie which takes some doing.

Who knows, he maybe is not putting in the required effort in training? Have heard former Silva players like Ryan Mason at Hull saying that training could be quite intense at times under Silva. There has been stories of him storming out of the training ground in the past because he was not named on the team sheet (not under Silva) he seems an odd character imo but he defo has a bit of talent about him although i don't quite think he is quite as good as some on here will have you believe, if he was he would be at a bigger club imo.
 

Bad attitude? Maybe. I would like to see him given a run of games anyway. Can't do much worse than Walcott. If he fails, sell him. BUT give him a run of games before considering selling him. If he leaves and becomes successful it would be massively disappointing if we never gave him a run for us. He has talent, can he\Everton embrace it? The next few games seem like a chance to maybe find out, but I won't be holding my. breath! Start him for 4 or 5 games in a row, we don't have much to lose now.
