Looks like there's nothing down for him here. Shame like, I think he shows promise.

I'm quite happy to say he might not be good enough. That doesn't stop him wanting to play and being frustrated by wasting his career away not even on the bench for us half the time. He would get a game elsewhere but we don't want to loan him out.And you also fail to see why 3 different managers not wanting to give him a run might not actually be mismanagement at all.
I've honestly never known an Everton player be so highly rated for so little reason. The lad's been here more than 2 years and other than the odd nice little shimmy in the middle of the pitch that gets him away from someone, he's produced next to nothing of note. He's got talent, clearly, but nowhere near as much as some people make out .There's a reason why he's still only a bits and pieces at player at a midtable club at an age when many others are established internationals and performing regularly at the top level.
Then why is Walcott allowed to be underwhelming on a weekly basis without losing his spot? Lookman actively looks to get on the ball more, creates more, dribbles better, can use both feet and holds on to the ball far better than Theo.We have seen with all our young players that they come into the team for a few games, then they are taken out again and we don't see them for a while. We have seen this with Kenny, Davies, DCL and Lookman.
I am guessing that the coaches are looking at their performances while in the team and working through each weakness when they are taken out of the team.
Lookman looks like a very talented player but his impact while in the team is underwhelming and I think that both the coaches and player are working through the reasons for this.
The young players mentioned above I feel will be asked to play a more important role next season and probably play more games. The management will need to be able to rely on them to deliver.
What I meant was, we had 7 subs sunday and he cant even get on the bench, so he is down to at least 19th man. I didn't see the need to have two defenders on the bench for the Derby, when Lookman could have offered an extra threat going forward by being a Sub
Apparently he referred to Silva as ‘fam’ recently and Silva took exception to it.
I am not trying to defend Walcott who has been poor but what has Lookman done to absolutely demand a place in the team every week ?Then why is Walcott allowed to be underwhelming on a weekly basis without losing his spot? I think it’s just more that Lookman is different and actually has upside. You can see his natural ability and he’s young. Walcott is all downside at this point in his career. For the rest of the season, Lookman should be getting minutes so we can finally evaluate him properly over an actual run of games. Nothing left to play for so why not. And I would really like to see him deployed somewhere that’s not on the right of a 4-2-3-1. Time to change things up now.I am not trying to defend Walcott who has been poor but what has Lookman done to absolutely demand a place in the team every week ?
I think Lookman has been at his best when coming on as an impact sub but not really been great when started.
As it happens I think our two wide players every week should be Bernard and Richarlison.
First and foremost as a spectator I'd just much rather be paying to see Lookman on the pitch, especially at this point in the season. I think he's better than Walcott in pretty much every regard already and is only going to improve while I highly doubt Walcott is.I am not trying to defend Walcott who has been poor but what has Lookman done to absolutely demand a place in the team every week ?

For me the upside with Walcott is that he plays in a different way, and that has its benefits. He's got his shortcomings, but I think the type of player he is, is something Silva wants in the team. That potentially has longer term benefits for us if we upgrade on him in the summer but have got used to playing with that sort of player. Lookman, Bernard and Richarlison all want the ball to feet, they all want to do tricks and come inside with the ball, making the set up a narrow one. Walcott stays wider, uses his pace as a threat, and gives an option for being played in behind (which he regularly has been this season, but hasn't been good enough to take advantage of it). Lookman gives us more of what we've already got, and him, Bernard and Richarlison all in the side together can be very much a case of too many cooks.I think it’s just more that Lookman is different and actually has upside. Really? Out of 7 subs (well 6 + GK) you wouldn't have 2 defenders, against one of the top 2 teams/attacks in the league???
Richarlison was on the bench. Do people really think Lookman is going to get in ahead of him? Indeed, which bench players should he have been there instead of, taking in to account positional needs?
Tbf, so would I...
We dont see the same when Lookman is playing. I see a player always stopping his run when receiving a ball, slowing down our play, a lot of poor sloppy passing, without anything that makes him stand out or special, except his rumored bad attitude. When making the right choices, he can be a good playmaker, but in most situations he either looses the ball or shoots directly at the keeper or cbs. Then why is Walcott allowed to be underwhelming on a weekly basis without losing his spot? I work with someone who writes about Dutch/German football so yes, i imagine he will know PR/press people from RB, what you after?
