From what I have seen of him it strikes me that he has a touch of Ross Barkley syndrome, his brain will never be as fast as his feet. I wouldn’t be adverse to keeping the kid if we were going to give him a solid run of games, but if we aren’t, sell him and bring in a kid from our youth teams or bring in another kid to take a chance on.

I recall a cartoon series from the 70s called Batfink...the protagonist was a crime fighting anthropomorphised bat and the chief antagonist was a mad scientist called Hugo-a-gogo. Along with The Wacky Races, it was a favourite of mine as a kid.

There was only ever 17 episodes of that show, just billions of re-runs, spookily like Lookmans highlights?

He’s potentially a decent player imo, certainly got lots of ability. In years gone by I’d have been distraught to see him go but not now.

We’ve moved on and we’re supposedly after players like Under, Kean and Neres whilst signing Richarlison and hopefully Zouma.

Bernie and Rico work their nuts off when we dont have the ball. Lookman doesnt fancy that side of the game any time I've seen him play and you need that in the prem. It's just not in him I fear.

There is no queue...if you’re not good enough, you’re not good enough and he’ll be sold when the time is right.

I expect that time is now as we add more quality like the names mentioned above and Lookman, who made little impact last year (when there was less competition) and was dropped by England under 21s moves even further away from our first team.

Last chance? He's had none. Zero. The only chance he had was at RBL and he did so well they were trying to bring him back and for some reason we played hard ball despite having no interest in giving him a fair shake. Sell for his own good.

But Lookman is worth something the crap we have isn't. He could become a very good player but he isn't doing it here even if we keep him in my view.

He's started 15 games in all competitions in 2 years here. That's hardly anything. By comparison RBL gave him close to 10 starts in 6 months.

Yes but they were mostly fifteen minutes here and twenty minutes there, I have some doubts about his workrate but very little about his ability, think he deserves a decent run, but doubt very much that he will get it.

He'd deserve a run if he is doing the biz in training and from what Silva himself said he blows hot and cold. This is elite level togger you cant just throw a lad in and hope he runs hot. There's too much at stake.

Struggle to give a monkeys about this lad anymore. For so long I was clamouring for him to get a run in the side as I think he does have bags of talent, but there's something off with the lad or he'd of established himself as at least a rotation option/consistent 20 minute to go sub by now. Not arsed if we sell him now, probably get a tidy little profit.

It's his attitude I do agree he should have had more game time and has ability. But he has to earn it too. Look at his attitude compared to Richarlison's attitude and work rate. I think it's best for both parties he moves on. I suspect he would be happier back in London. We can put the money towards a winger and striker.
