I don't really get the Walcott/Lookman comparisons. They don't compete for the same position.

Lookman competes with Bernard. Walcott competes with Richarlison.

Lookman wants to drop in and get on the ball. Walcott's strengths are running in behind (look at the tons of chances he got doing just that last season - and then missed em). Totally different styles of player.

It’s certainly a lazy comparison. But on paper people see ‘winger’ and go with it.

I do think we've hindered him but not enough that he shouldn't be able to shine if the quality is where I think it is.

And as I said give him a whole year of actual playing time and come back to it. End of next season let's see where he is. I'm willing to bet we look back and say at a minimum pushing him out so we could keep Walcott and Bernard was foolish.

If you don't rate performance in any inferior league, how can we ever sign someone who isn't already in the Prem?

He has something about him, no doubt about that but if he was even half as talented as some of them on here make out, you know as well as i do much bigger clubs than soft drink fc would be coming in for him, especially considering he does'nt get a game for us.

Hes got 5 goals in DAS SPL in 6 months and 1 in 2 and a half years here.

Seb Haller hasnt scored a single Premier League goal.

Which is all skewed because of the small sample size in each league by itself. I don't think he's a 1 in 2 guy like at RBL but I don't think he's a 1 in 32 or whatever it is that he was here.

For comparison I don't think Bernard will score as few next year either. Sometimes it just doesn't go your way. But I'd bet if each played the same amount of time Ademola would score more.
