For comparison I don't think Bernard will score as few next year either. Sometimes it just doesn't go your way. But I'd bet if each played the same amount of time Ademola would score more.

Lookman's defending is pretty non-existent and at the moment we can't afford to carry a luxury player like that. I wish he had been given a good run in the team to be able to find out what he was really about but unfortunately it wasn't to be. We need to get rid before he becomes another player just winding down his contract here.

Yes a higher fee would be ideal but Leipzig are the only club willing to put a concrete offer on the table and £22m is probably all they can afford. Says a lot about the player that Silva isn't willing to have another year with him. Just get him gone and give his spot on the squad to someone who'll work for it.

That's all they went to last season IIRC before they gave up. Their record transfer fee is around £25m for so they aren't known for paying big bucks out.

I know you guys don't believe in stats but I figure if Lookman played the same minutes as most of our first team players at the same level he played the minutes he did get he would have been around 10. So take that for what it is worth. And I think that he works hard on the field just not in training apparently.
