I don't buy the 'crap attitude' line that our fans seem to preach as fact, either. Sometimes it just doesn't work out and as much as I like him, there's better players ahead of him - Bernard, and then players who suit the other role in the team better (which is why Walcott often gets the nod).

At least he's off to Leipzig and not another Prem club, yet.

Anything over 20 million for this lad seems a good sale. Seems from a far, it's only really been this club interested in him. Similar with vlasic. At least with Henry a number of different clubs appear to be sniffing around him.

He doesn't work hard enough off the ball in defence or attack. He has bags of ability but doesn't graft for the team and lacks good movement in the final third.

It could well all click for him at some point because it's things he can control which are letting him down. But he was extremely frustrating here for us.

Talented young player, disappointing to sell him. I'm sure we will see the usual "he didn't want to be here" shouts despite there being no evidence of this. And the "had his opportunities" meaning he had the odd 20 min cameo & starting what seemed like 2 games in a row max.
