Ademola Lookman

But we were inevitably going to have to shift a winning team with Zouma and Gueye both possibly out so using the end of the season that we already haven't made CL is probably a better time than the start of one where we still have a chance right? Yeah I think Lookman should have been given a run at that point too but in general we thought too short.

Bored now. Hopefully he will have a decent career. But wont be with us.

Surely top 4 isn’t a realistic ambition.
Why not?
We battered Manu, Arsenal and Chelsea last time we played them. Manu are all over the place, Chelsea have lost their best player and can’t replace him and Arsenal are lacking everywhere but up front. We don’t have Europe to distract us and with the right additions we have a very good chance of finishing in the top 4. It should absolutely be our aim this season.

In the normal scheme of things I'd be telling you that there's no chance we could finish in the top 4 this year. We've finished 11th, 11th, 7th, 8th and 8th in the last 5 years.

Having said that, the main thing we have going in our favour is the turmoil of half of the top 6. City and Liverpool will be the top two. Spurs will most probably be third. Outside of that, Chelsea and United are a mess and Arsenal could go either way. There is a chance that the 4th place spot could be open for a non-top 6 side. I think it's probably less likely to happen than it is likely, but IF we have a really good window, it's possible. That would probably mean getting in all of our first choice targets in the 4 areas Silva wants and probably keeping Gana (even though I think longer term it might be smarter to sell him this summer).

It's a long shot, but it's theoretically possible. Will depend on at least 3 clubs having bad seasons though.

Lookman's number of starts is so low that it's tough but he did have 1 assist in the 3 starts he had this season. 1 goal and 1 assist in 5 if you include Lincoln and Millwall. That isn't that bad.

Richarlison has a different style. He isn't trying to find space in between the lines as much so he doesn't need the same type of support. The Newcastle game I remember Lookman and Coleman never being able to find the connection.
That’s a game I remember thinking he either doesn’t suit our style or Silva is playing him wrong.

What were Leicester City's last 5 finishes prior to them winning the league...............

And in the 5 years before we last got 4th we finished 13th, 16th, 15th, 7th and 17th

Never got 5 starts n a row, or close to that. I could see potential in the minutes he did have, but it seems I am the minority. Goal threat and capable of something from little, made me excited when Mola got a game. I know he didn't score many, but I reckon he would have, if he got a run for us. It is frustrating to me that a player, who I genuinely thought could be a star for us, never got an extended run. I would have rotated him with Bernard, the young lad could have learnt alot from him, but he would already have scored far more goals, given the same chances. We should be selling Theo instead! He peaked years ago!!
