He played well at city but he played on the left that game and he didn't play well enough to get ahead of richarlison.

What did he do against Chelsea that was so good? That will make me think wow! Thus lad beeds to start. That one dribble into the box? Get a grip man.

He did play well against Bournemouth but he followed it up with a absolutely terrible performance at Southampton where I forgot he was on the pitch most of the time.

That's Lookmans issue really he never kicked on. He'd look good one game then he'd do nothing for 5 games. Then look good one game and so on.

All I'm saying is go back and look at the threads. People at the time thought he played well. Now that he's leaving it's been revised to he never did anything. Even that Saints game he got 11% of the MOTM vote which was 4th highest on the team and highest of any non-defender.

It isn't that there's no difference in the level of each attacker we have. But it's crazy to suggest Lookman is the only one who is inconsistent. And saying he didn't play because he's better on the left and isn't better than Richarlison doesn't work when Richarlison started a bunch of games up top and on the right.

My overall point with Lookman is he never got the shot he deserved and prior to Marco saying he didn't train hard many people would have agreed. I'm not letting one comment about his work ethic be enough to convince me the most talented young player we have should get no chances at all but a lot of people are more than happy too. That's especially true when others in his position aren't producing.
