Ademola Lookman

The lad himself has said he hasn't had the right attitude. Boothroyed has had a pop at him over his attitude last summer.

That's 4 everton managers and a England youth manager have all either not been interested in him or have said something about him having a attitude issue.

Jesus kev mirallas has gotten on with more managers then this kid.
The funny thing is that when Boothroyd criticised his attitude Lookman agreed. So it's something even he has acknowledged.

Almost everyone outside of this forum realises this “bad attitude” is a load of BS when he’s been benched by much less talented players, and performed when played
I only said you had your head up your backside because you seem to be saying everyone is wrong in offering overwhelming evidence that 3 managers and many supporters not being convinced by him. Yes we all questioned Koeman about it but then Allardyce and then Silva seemingly being of the same opinion then raises doubts about the said player. Have you been totally convinced by Lookmans performances for the 1st team or like me been scratching your head with his inconsistency. He hasn't shown enough only glimpses.

Sorry for the backside puns.
I think he's been really good when he's played. I genuinely believe had he played as much as Bernard and Sig he would have had the most assists in the team and chipped a few goals in too. I rate him that highly.

And people will chime in about the team being important and how Bernard opens up Digne and while that is true, our attacking output was the difference in us and United and Arsenal. We needed to explore every possible way to be better going forward and not using Lookman at all is a failure on that front imo.

So a manager who was sacked from Watford due to a poor attitude and poor professionalism questions a player’s attitude when other managers were desperate to sign him, but I guess you think I have to take Silva’s word for gospel right?
This is something that has been overlooked. Silva being the one to question attitude and effort is comical.

Silva and brands did nothing but praise the kid for a long time. They stood firm and kept him because they saw he was a talent and believed in him. Apart from the palace game he's done nothing.

24 games he was involved in and he got two assists (palace and Bournemouth) and one goal(Lincoln) where he scored in the 12th minute celebrated like he's just caught a wiff of some ladies panty stank and it did very little to impress. Then disappeared for the rest of the match. He should of been running the show that game but no just disappeared.

He doesn't celebrate enough. This is Rom all over FFS.

Ay, and Rom is a massive weapon as well. What does that tell you?

Is that all you took from that post btw the fact I said he didn't celebrate? No wounder you are sticking up for him you don't seem to understand accumulation.

Also he celebrated like he won the world cup when he scored against city. So he does celebrate goals...when he wants to.

Good move for all involved, disappointing it hasn't worked out for him but suspect that's as much his fault as it is ours. Shove that 18mill towards malcom and let's give him a go

He didn't celebrate because it was a league two side just like Bernard didn't either.

And I've already posted in here how revisionist history it is to say he didn't ever play well.

Bernard celebration is him praying to god then hugging the team. The same he did when he scored against West ham.

Again I never said that lad never played well. He had flashes but where he looked a player but the rest of the time he didn't do anything.

What has he done to warrant himself a place in our starting 11? He doesn't work hard enough in training so he doesn't start and when he does get on the pitch he does nothing apart from the odd flash.

What does this lad do that means he deserves a place over Walcott let alone richarlison or Bernard?

We don't have any players who are at top level 100% of the time. Lookman being up and down is no different than any of the other attackers.

If you're really interested in seeing when he played well and should have earned more minutes you can go look at the match threads from City away, Chelsea away and Bournemouth at home for starters.

Honestly.... Who's arsed?

The past 5 pages are absolute childish drivel arguing the merits of the deal. I get it's a forum, a platform for debate... But typing out the same thing over and over doesn't strengthen your point.

For what it's worth, I'm disappointed as he clearly has the talent. It's also clear he doesn't apply himself.

Decent profit, wage off the books, an underperforming player gets the move he wants a year later than be wanted.

I wish him well but he wont be missed.
