Duffy has done very well IMO
Considering everyone was saying he'd never make it out of The Championship when we sold him he's proved them all wrong by being a darn good Premier League player all told. Wish we'd never sold him honestly

But he wouldnt have made it here.
Hes a late bloomer, so he would never have got the game time here, to be honest, if he was still here, how many would put him ahead of Keane and Mina? Apart from you.

Geri would have been at least as good as Bernard and Walcott last year. For all his issues I'd have him back and wish we hadn't put that criminally low clause in with Barca.
We better buy another winger. One Richarlison injury and we are desperately short of quality in the wide areas. I don't want Anthony Gordon or Broadhead being the guy we rely on off the bench this season.
Glad that's over with...dude's situation had become a distraction instead of anticipation. Onwards.

I would never have let him go but as you say the release clause screwed us. Koeman probably would have sold him even if there was no clause anyway like

It does feel that way. Which makes it even weirder that people trust Koemans evaluation of Lookman when Deulofeu got the same treatment. Unnecessarily wasted both of them. If we somehow had those 2 and Richarlison and Bernard that would be a solid set of players. Instead I feel we have just put winger next to striker and CB in the must sign category.
Still think it's entirely too little money but at least we won't have to see him in case he turns out good.

He's a homegrown English player. There's every chance he ends up back here if he develops just like there's a close to guaranteed chance Sancho will.
