Wasnt given a chance by Koeman, wasnt wanted by Allardyce who thought his quality was Championship level and called him out. Leipzig made him feel at home and wanted, he done really well, plus they are a very good young team.

I dont blame him for wanting off, he probably still believes he wont get many minutes here next season, esp now with Richarlison coming in. Its up to Silva to convince him he will get games.

However I wouldnt take less than £30mill if he did go.

Wish the Goodison crowd would realise that their loud groans every time a player makes a mistake (particularly our young players) doesn't help one bit.... We did it Barkley, we did it with Stones, we do it with every kid we have......result is, either the player couldn't leave the club fast enough, or lost their confidence and lost their way...
Haha. 'Loud groans' are pretty much a reflex action to poor play and happen at every single club in the country when a player fails to deliver. I mean it's not like you sit there and think 'ooo I feel a loud groan coming on '
You mention Barkley, I certainly groaned many times when he frustratingly gave the ball away or made poor decisions, but I also joined in numerous standing ovations and cheered and applauded his successes like any other player.
When a crowd is fully engaged with a team you will always get praise and criticism it's the nature of support everywhere and is an intrinsic part of watching the game.
Of far more concern is when the support becomes disengaged , as we saw last season, and silence falls because that displays acceptance of defeat and abject failure.

Depends how we play, if it is fast breaking football we can play without a target man.
I'd love to try a front 3 of Lookman, Richarlison and Walcott.

Me too on occasion. Just from the other night thought he could have done better with couple of headed efforts from crosses. Though having said that Tosun looked hopeless with his head the other night too

He's certainly got a spring on him, there was a good article on him yesterday saying he was really good at winning aerial balls

I've been encouraged that the people I value opinions on, on the stats side of things, who hated every one of last years buys (Pickford aside) are saying Richarlison is good.
