garbage lad,

he would have went to Kenya and done all sort of fitness during the build up to the game in "40 degree heat", the game itself would probably the best bit about the trip, training im sure footballers dislike a lot more than the game

he would have just faked an injury during training and then had the day off to chill at the beach then wouldn't he

Everton forward Ademola Lookman admits England Under-21s boss Aidy Boothroyd was right to question his focus.



“He’s got great talent, but actually, when you look at his 90 minutes, there’s these flashes of very good skill, but not often enough.”

“He’s got to prove that he can deliver on a more regular basis, and I think Lookman will get in the team on a regular basis then,” he added.

How do you know he wasn’t strolling around half-arsed during training as well?

Thats true I've read those too, but if you can't apply your talent, it might not be a 'bad attitude' it might just be benign - focus, mental toughness, mental fitness - anything that many young players have. I just put it down to being a young player - there are only a few 18-23 year olds who already perform well consistently at a young age, most mature later.

But how long do we wait mate?

Hes been here 3 years now, he can barely nail down a place on the bench, theres being patient and then theres cutting your loses.

True, but i just think a priority has to be on the group Niasse, Mirallas, Tosun, Walcott, ...
Even with his 'bad attitude' imagine if he'd played the same minutes as Walcott.. he might have done well?
Anyway, it's all speculation. I just liked those little touches and flourishes...but then again, i still remember the very first touches of Mo Besic when he looked like a world-class superstar
