thing is I know we will leave him on his current deal , which is probly around £7500 a week, meaning he will be actively seeking to play elsewhere , where he could get £40k a week.

Reckon he's on more than that, signed for 11m . DCL is on 40k a week and doesn't look even half as talented

Well that's a transfer request in the Summer upcoming then.
Everton that.
Everton is in ‘backs to the wall’ , siege mentality mode. Young talented players have little role to play in such attritional straits. For his best development he needs to find a new club to assist (and to benefit from) that aim. That club is not Everton.
The fat Dutchman and gormless Walsh have set this club back years

You know they play different positions, right? The only reason DCL has been playing is that we didn't have a proper CF.
Of course they do. However, DCL was still subbed on against Spurs for Tosun who should easily have fitness to go 90 while Lookman who's clearly more of a danger stayed rooted to the bench. Leave Tosun and sub Rooney of Sig off to make way for Lookman? Or move Rooney up and let Lookman play behind. Or just put him on ahead of Aaron Lennon? Also, there have been times this season DCL went on as a winger ahead of Lookman as well. Try making sense of that.

Yes, playing too offensively for our own good apparently. Time to get more defensive before we get relegated...

It’s unlikely to happen as it would be too difficult to make work, but next season I’d love to see a “ front three” of Lookman, Onyekuru and Bolassie. Imagine actually passing the ball out to one of these three instead of just hoofing it hopefully towards our striker .
He’s still got a lot to learn , and it’s hard to disagree with the view that he finds it more difficult to make an impact when he starts compared to coming on late and running at a tiring defence. He’ll get better and better though.

Lookman on the left yes...

Onyekuru plays on the left too...and bolasie should be sold to any chump willing to pay real money for him.
