We have a fair few promising youngsters so we need a manager who recognises that and is willing to build a team with these youngsters in mind. I don't trust Moshiri to make that kind of appointment though. At the moment we are spending millions on average experienced players (Tosun another prime example of this) who our idiot managers then turn around and say they arnt good enough for the premiership. It's outrageous this has been allowed to happen.

And once again with these players the first defence is their age. If he was consistent and good enough age would never be thought about. Hope the lad comes good but he’s not shown enough in training to 3 managers now to warrant a starting place, or are they all wrong as well

Schneiderlin must be absolutely boss in training to be getting picked week in, week out. Who would have thought it though, it doesn't matter how gash you are when you play as long as you show enough in training.

Agreed. Also, 2 of those 3 weren't up to the job, arguably all 3 in fact... Why should their opinion of Lookman hold any weight.

You can't dismiss age and then use consistency as a measure to judge him with. Age and consistency tend to go hand in hand.

Hopefully Leipzig will help him to be what he wants to be rather than tell him he is poor at this & poor at that or play him out of position.

Unfortunately in this & country & at Everton too often we try & make players play the position we want them too & not the position they want too & are best suited to play.

You’re talking about 3 defensive managers who each played the same rubbish formation and who’s priority is not to win games but instead to try not lose. Creative players have no place in their system

Yes we need a Tuchel or a Fonseca a manager with a long term vision.

Maybe so but we can't be having Bolasie look half fit starting matches and then not have an answer when it inevitably doesn't work. If anything it should of been Lookman getting the starts with Bolasie being eased back in and gaining match fitness over the next few weeks/months.

Can see him rocking up at Spurs or staying at Leipzig ......... and I hated writing that as he was a bit like Del Boy in getting people to the edge of their seats
