Same thing m8 to be honest.
It's still taking advantage on our part. What is left of African football when the west has taken the cream of their players?
If it was refugees coming to us for the money, would you feel the same?

We are not taking advantage, we are paying them millions. It's mutual beneficial.

We are paying the players millions, but what about the Country?

We are running football club, not UNESCO. They can pour the millions they have earn back to where they came from. It's their choice, you can't fault us if they refuse to.

This is not a UNESCO decision, its not a UN decision but that of the African equivalent of UEFA...........

Using your guide lines we should be able to pull teams out of any international side, we simply can't we are duty bound to release players for these tournaments, even the clubs can't say no.

That said FIFA had agreed to look at the timing of this event and its frequency which is inconvenient for us Europeans, doesn't mean to say they'll do anything though as we have no more rights in that organisation than any other union

Angola murder rate 40
South Africa 37

England 2.03
Serbia 1.46

I suppose. But the African nations do share 1 thing and thats is the highest murder rate in the world. If your gonna chat inaccurate assumptions, I suggest you check facts first.

everyone knew long before that south africa is a dangerous country. i am still not one hundred percent happy that the tournament will pass off incident free.

but to say the world cup is in danger because of an incdent that happened in another country that had nothing to do with south african politics is embarrassing for you.

did people want to call off euro 2004 in portugal because of the ETA train bombings in madrid a few months earlier? No, of course not.

Thankfully the ETA bombings where an isolated incident, things like "this" happen in Africa every single hour of every day.

Your just embarrassing yourself now, ive proved that the South African Region has the highest murder rate in the entire world.

And not once did I say we should "call off the World Cup".
