This is not a UNESCO decision, its not a UN decision but that of the African equivalent of UEFA...........

Using your guide lines we should be able to pull teams out of any international side, we simply can't we are duty bound to release players for these tournaments, even the clubs can't say no.

That said FIFA had agreed to look at the timing of this event and its frequency which is inconvenient for us Europeans, doesn't mean to say they'll do anything though as we have no more rights in that organisation than any other union
