Just been told by a mate who works at the echo that Graeme Sharp told him McGeady deal is already done on a pre contract.

Taking this with a pinch of salt as I've been let down before about Rodwell with mis-information.

The more players the better if you ask me, I'd be happy enough with him

Agreed pal, think we need some depth attacking wise so if we get him for a decent fee ( 2-3m ) he could be a useful addition to the squad and add some much needed depth

Twitter is pretty active with talk of him signing tomorrow, apparently he's here for a medical (so Twitter says)

If Roberto likes him we need to trust him. I remember Maloney pre-Martinez, he had no end product either and he improved....

Part of me does think that Roberto could get the best out of him.
As most have said, the lad wont cost no more than £2m, he has pace, that can be really effective for us coming off the bench in certain games. He'd also have friends here in the form on Coleman and McCarthy, maybe even Naismith from SPL days, so he might feel comfortable here, which in turn could help his performances.

With limited funds to bring players in he's surely better than Naismith, Osman and Oviedo as a wide player but personally I think we should be aiming for better. He looked like a world beater at times for Celtic (recall him giving the Milan defenders a torrid time one game) but too often flatters to deceive.

In summary i'm a bit "meh" about him.
