He won't need to put a cross in at Everton. I'd like to see the stats for Mirallas and Pienaar but I don't remember many crosses this season from them; it's Oviedo/Baines and Coleman on the overlap.
That's the key - I agree that McGeady has terrible delivery of a ball from wide areas, but we don't need him for that at all. We need him to be able to take a ball in and run with it, laying off to available players and making himself available for one-two's. I think he can certainly do that.
You're comparing chalk and cheese when looking at McGeady for the Republic of Ireland. They play an archaic system of football compared to us with vastly inferior players.
