I think stating a man has health problems significant enough to leave a job, when he hasn't said so himself (besides taking himself off Twitter for few days, and he is back on Twitter now), and the club certainly haven't framed his departure as health-related, is worse than speculating why he left, to be honest.

So the usual suspects blaming ill health got it wrong.

Genuinely pretty incensed at the club here. Blackburn is not going to be a lower stress position than Everton on the face of it, Kenwright is universally adored by comparison to the Venkys.

The club better have an excellent replacement lined up, because there's some serious spinning to be done here.

Just been suggested too that maybe the job was too personal, being an fan made the job a 24 hour thing? He seems to wear his heart on his sleeve too so you can see why...
