Utterly enigmatic - offers little-to-nothing out wide and we'd have to build a team around him (in a free role at #10) to get the best out of him, but obviously not going to do that - at least Walcott wide gives us a strong shape out of possession and allows Sidibe license to bomb on.

When he's played in his preferred position, however, he's shown glimpses of brilliance and class (when it comes to driving with the ball and weight of final pass), but I can see him struggling to ever add a real level of consistency to his game because he doesn't appear to have the basics down..
He reminds me of dowell in that sense. I’ve said for years, Dowell has the ability to play some beautiful passes, and to score some cracking goals, but his all round game is nowhere near good enough to play at the top level. Iwobis the same, he can play a lovely weighted pass but when the other 99% of the game consists of him looking like he’s got his boots on the wrong feet it’s not much use.

The lad ran his arse of tonight closing down there players , yes his passing wasn't the best but he's in a position he should not be playing in ,davis and Holgate at times tonight couldn't find a man if they were in the blue oyster bar at times but don't get the slack this lad gets, I might be wrong but give the lad a chance in his natural position I think he be ok.

There are certain striking similarities for sure, one trait being that they both make a hobby out of shirking tackles and shying away from the physical aspect of the game; especially frustrating given that Goodison always requires a couple of strong challenges early on to set the tone.

Oh hes done with the fanbase, so many people wanted him subbed off after 5minutes.
He was done the moment he signed. Our fans have shown an inability to ever look past price tag. I don't know how we would be able to support the team if we started signing 70m players regularly.

I mean Richarlison is legitimately our best player and he still gets abuse when he doesn't score for 3 games. Iwobi has been completely crapped on. Sigurdsson, who has been a mess this season, is talked about like he never did anything useful when he scored 13 league goals last year. Meanwhile no one really has goes at Bernard or Andre despite them being up and down all the same because they are "bargains."

It's like we are trying to prove to everyone that we can still be the thrifty Everton of the Moyes era. There's no need anymore.

Did you just say Davies doesn’t get stick?! You have GOT to be joking!

The lads got the ability, but it all falls down with the lack of heart and fight. A luxury player who only shines when things are going well for the team.
Lack of heart and fight ? he didn't stop running for the team the last few weeks ,usually if a teams doing well most players shine don't they?
