It's mad cause I actually really liked him at Arsenal and think a few times posted about wanting us to sign him. Shows how much I know.

I do believe he has quality, think his decision making is pretty poor and he's devoid of any confidence. Seems to shirk responsibility and is a little afraid to take risks in case it doesn't pay off which is 100% the wrong attitude for an attacker.

Because spurs are not norwich. Even taking into account they have been pretty average themselves. We had possession against norwich but done very little with it so there was no great iwobi or any good performance from all. If we hadnt scored from a set piece then 0-0 would have been seen as a poor result. As it is i think the result smoke screened a comfortable win because of the opposition.
He's not good enough. He simply isnt.

What I'm asking is why no one else is doing what he does if it is so basic?

I'm not really trying to say Iwobi has been good enough at it, he hasn't, but just trying to point out finding someone to reliably transition the play is hard and we don't have anyone who even shows half a chance of doing it but him and maybe Gordon.

Do you realise what i mean by basic? Trap and give tippy tappy football was all he basicaly did v norwich. All of them did that as they were under very little pressure. And all pros should be able to do that. He created very little against them. Thats why i struggled to read the excellent comments about that game. He just did basic 5/10 yard passes to team mates. Hardly any actualy hurting norwich.

lockdown boredom maybe ? just doing full weight training daily and just lashed too much on ..cos looks like hes lost a yard and gets tired seemly early

It's not pretentious at all. You've said yourself that a lot of people came in here and said he did a lot of good stuff against Norwich and you're the one who stands out saying it was all basic. Everyone could see what he was doing was important in that game.

The problem of course is he doesn't do it every game right now.

Er no. Go back and check. A lot of posters said he did ok. Nothing in terms of excellent. Which was OTT.
He had a basic good game.
Thats it.

We're stuck with him because we are the only dam fools who would have taken this tippy tappy creates nothing does nothing player. And he's on a fortune.

No i never. When i said nothing in terms of excellent which was OTT. Meaning he was nothing of the sort. Not the comments. Which are there.
We're going round the houses now though.
