I do believe he has quality, think his decision making is pretty poor and he's devoid of any confidence. Seems to shirk responsibility and is a little afraid to take risks in case it doesn't pay off which is 100% the wrong attitude for an attacker.

He was megging players and then making defence splitting passes for arsenal. Now he's not.
 
His performance against Spurs was shameful. Wouldn’t you have thought as an ex Arsenal player he’d want to put in a good shift against his old nemesis? Pretty sure he was just as bad against them in the home game earlier in the season. Not sure what his problem seems to be, he just doesn’t look very good for us. Maybe he was given assurances when he came here that he could be played more centrally when given the chance? that’s not gonna happen under Ancelotti any time soon with his preferred 4-4-2 set up. Anyway regardless of where he plays the minimum we expect is to put a shift in and work hard he hasn’t done that a lot of recent. Says it all when young Gordon has stepped in and been more effective.

At least it’s made that El pivote and an American guy called Ryan Williams who’s seems to be on twitter 24/7. Look a bit foolish as they raved about iwobi. And of course all the stats


El pivote has at least admitted he’s been poor and probably doesn’t suit 442. While Ryan is still fighting his corner.

Someone called them spreadsheet perverts lol

...I expect he’ll be on the bench, but it would be interesting if gets a start in CM tonight given our total lack of energy in that part of the pitch.
 

I don't think he takes his man on enough and then drive forward in to dangerous areas, and then when he gets there actually make the right pass.

He definitely has the ability to do the former, which would be a start.

Essentially I want to see more of what happened in the second half against Norwich.

Only problem is they were dire and we will lucky to play one maybe two sides like that a season in the PL
