Hes a really big bloke...strong, quick and good technically...

I feel that after a season he'll just 'click' and we'll have a super player on our hands.

Stumbled across this whilst looking for something else. Ostensibly about video games and football but Iwobi is interviewed for it discussing how he used to use FIFA to check out opposition players. Worryingly also used to try and mimic Aiden McGeady so...

He also had a soft spot for Aiden McGeady, an altogether less remarkable Irish winger. “He had one turn that I would go out into the garden and practice,” Iwobi said.

I’m not a fan, okay in spells, shirks the hard work, doesn’t win a lot of tackles, shirks 50/50’s completely, that pass he gave away to provide Spurs’ winner, if I remember rightly, Davies had the ball and instead of running into a wide open space down the wing ( which was there) Iwobi stood were he was, then receiving the ball he went backwards towards his own goal before making the misplaced pass. He doesn’t go looking for the ball, better in the middle, if anywhere, but to be the playmaker you’ve got work hard and be prepared to fight and win the ball as well, not sure he can do the job successfully. I think we could have done a lot better for the money spent.James Maddison went for a lot less last year, worth three or four times the price now. To be honest Everton were interested in him, but he preferred to go to Leicester because it was nearer to where his parents lived, I believe.
