Maybe his fee is an issue for him as well as us? At half the price there would be less pressure on him.
It's still fairly early days for him though, he grew up at arsenal, he's young, moved to a new city and new working environment. 3 different managers, injury, played out of position etc. If Carlo doesn't see him fitting and/or get a credible offer for him, goodbye and good luck!
Otherwise, give him another season, for some it takes time.

I dont think he's a bad player.

But hes symptomatic of us having had far too many managers recently.

He was bought for a 4231. But we play 442. And he fits neither a traditional wide role or a box to box midfield role. Hes a bit of a luxury and will do ok as a squad player. But I dont think he'll ever be anything more.
