I know his final ball is lacking, but in terms of getting us into transition - he's excellent.

At the moment he is one of the few players in the starting 11 with pace, his crossing needs work though. DCL is starved of service at the moment, not all down to Iwobi, but if he could work on the crossing, it would be nice

If I was him, I'd be staying on after training every day to practice crossing. Every type of cross too, the high ones, the low ones, the drilled ones, the cut backs. Just make sure that a teammate is found. Sometimes his balls into the box are hopeful, aimless balls.

If he can improve this side of his game, we might have a player. There have definitely been some green shoots of potential finally being fulfilled lately.

Just work on those balls into the box!

People seem to completely miss this bit. Nearly every ball that went to him today, he had chilwell on his back tight. He used his body superbly and held it up or laid it off depending on what was around him

For me he chooses the best option most of the time and his awareness is excellent, its just frustrating when it doesnt come off as his passing can be a bit lazy at times. One of the more intelligent footballers in the team.

He's a footballer, but what type of player actually is he?! Barkley was the same puzzle, he is so obviously talented but where does he fit in? And at one point do you just stop bothering?

Will never accept anyone saying he doesn't give it his all though. Lad has never put in a performance since he arrived where I've thought he looked totally disinterested.

I like him you know, think he thrives on clear instructions. Need to start seeing a bit more quality on those balls and cutbacks into the box but plenty of good play and good to see him using his pace and frame more.

Opposing players used to easily ghost round him, similar to Gylfi, I thought this was a major flaw that he couldn't ever fix - however, his impressive recent attacking form aside, he's actually improved his defensive game massively, im happy about it of course, but it does beg the same old question, why are our players capable of such massive variance in performance?

Gilfi and he were really good. And how many times does that happen?

At least we know now what his best position is so please no more left wing, Carlo.

His inability to cross while running is a defect, and he does lack outright speed but he has more skill than I gave him credit for.

He's had a decent spell in the team now and looks more confident running forward. Tbf to the lad, even at his worst, he always worked hard.
