Other than Bolasie/Simon Davies, I can't think of many wingers we've signed for a half decent fee that are worse than Iwobi.
His composure/decision making in the as bad as mine in Subway.

You seriously think McGeady and Gueye were better than him? Actual lower league players? Lennon wasn't anything special at all. Van Der Meyde looked good and was actually fit for about 2 seasons out of his entire career. Walcott in his prime was FAR better, but in his final 12 months here offered little to nothing in all honesty and his stats reflected as much.
Iwobi's not garbage, just not good enough for top 6 nor probably even 10. We need squad players who are if we're ever going to kick on.

His last season he played regularly and was honestly quite good, on an upward trajectory for sure. They decided Pepe was a better option.
And I'd move him because that's what his skillset calls for. He passes and dribbles forward a lot but isn't creative enough to be a winger. That's essentially box to box midfield.
This fella is as bad as Cuco Martina.....and that really scare's me.

He's not a right winger. He's going to keep looking bad playing right wing. There are still things he is good at, but taking on fullbacks and crossing are not them. Any time he can move toward the middle of the field he opens the game up for us.

I will tell you this much. Every single one of them players at some stage in a game went past a player. Iwobi doesnt. Never attacks a fullback. And cant cross.
Iwobi isnt garbage. He's utter garbage and an absolute fraud of a player nicking a living here
Id have all of them over iwobi as i know exactly what we're gona get from him. Which is fck all.

He could play off the left if he was given license to move toward the center and pick the ball up. But in the past when he's played the left the #10 spot was Sigurdsson who isn't good at linking up and that kills Iwobi.
We're the wrong team for him. He's good at combining and we have no good combination players aside from James. Richarlison, Sigurdsson, DCL, Gomes, Doucoure, Allan, they're all pretty below par with the ball.
I think he's terrible in the middle too. Lacks awareness/nous. I think back to him playing central and that backpass to gift Alli a goal Vs Spurs.
I just don't see anything to his game that makes me think hes good enough to be regularly playing for any team with top 6 aspirations.

So because he made one bad pass he shouldn't be allowed to do the thing he's suited to do anymore?
We played him central for a whole game one time, against West Ham last season at Goodision, and he ran the game. Maybe it was a fluke. With how bad our midfield is in possession it wouldn't hurt to find out.
