He doesn't play in his best position because he isn't as good as other players at the club in those positions. Honestly I don't get why you're defending him. He's crap, his output is crap, when he's on the pitch he's shirks responsibility, even of he played left wing he'd still be crap

We have the worst midfield in the league when James doesn't play. Are we sure he's worse?

And Richarlison is a striker playing on the wing that really doesn't help us when he's not in the box. Are we sure that is the best idea?

I do, what I also do is not brush over a players faults because I like that they run hard, which is what most of this forum is doing with Godfrey and Doucoure.

Iwobi is by no means a perfect player but it doesn't take a lot to see he's not able to play the RW mostly for lack of knowledge of the spot than lack of any ability at all.

It doesn’t take a lot to see Iwobi is utter crap either.

Exactly, you're proving my point, Carlo would rather play other players out of position because Iwobi isn't up to it. Richarlison on the wing is 100x more effective than iwobi

why does he need knowledge to cross a ball in? I agree he's not your traditional winger of taking the full back on and swinging a cross in but that's the way he's being used so he needs to get used to it.
His performance against Southampton was just absolute moronic, He's an experienced player with just under 150 apps at 24 in the Premiership.

I saw him sprint back defensively at pace once last night. Hadn't seen him ever do that in any match. That is the minimum required if you can do anything with the ball. That alone tells me something. His effort is abysmal along with his ability. Sell and move on for me. Not good enough even for squad to progress.

I agree, Holgate is not your traditional fullback where he's good at stopping dribblers, but that's where he's being used so he needs to get used to it.

Rodwell would have been a werld class defender, McFadden just needed to play number 10, yadda yadda. Good players look like good players. This guy is rank average and we were robbed blind.

It was a bloody stupid deal paying that much for a player who's never looked worth that amount.

If he has the talent to make it he certainly doesn't have the mentality to showcase it. He doesn't seem to have an ounce of desire to win in him - he's not the only one in the squad.

I just can't see us getting a decent fee back for him. It'll be loan's until his contract is up.

We're really bad going forward. I think people are missing this because we score from corners a lot and it bails us out. We really should be asking major questions of basically every aspect of our play with the ball, and Iwobi is one player who does have something to offer as far as dribbling and forward passing go, but is being wasted at RW or even RWB. And you all are mad because he knows and is willing to say it.
