The question for me is do we need goal threat or do we need a midfielder. We have a lot of threat in DCL and Richarlison. We have next to nothing in terms of good midfield play. So that is my opinion really, that we need a guy to link things together and Iwobi at his best can do that better than everyone we have bar James.

Both

I do argue it, repeatedly. Sigurdsson stinks and holds us back. Every game he plays at #10 we are poor from open play aside from that Spurs cup game and even in that game our finishing was off that charts to keep us in it. If we took Sigurdsson off corners and penalties no one would want to see him on the team sheet ever again because he offers nothing at all.

Iwobi could do more. I don't know if he will, I've only seen it a few times admittedly, but I'd bet on that potential instead of the certainty of what Sigurdsson is going to do.

I have seen nothing in Iwobis time here to suggest he’d be a better alternative to Sigurdsson at all in the No.10 position. Nothing. I’m not saying Ancelotti is always 100% spot on but I trust his judgment on the players over a couple of peoples opinions based on a few stats on Transfermarkt and a video from 18 months ago.

So doing it, on his stronger foot is harder than what he done on his weaker foot? apologies he did play LWB that game
It's not strong foot versus weak foot exclusively. Everything is different when you're pretty one footed with how you play. The defender defends you different, the way you have the ball, how you move. It all changes when you go from naturally moving central to naturally moving down the wing. There are players who are capable of both no doubt but largely speaking nowadays wingers do one or the other. We wouldn't ask James to try the left flank out and not let him drift central. But we do that with Iwobi and act surprised that he struggles.

He can go and F himself is that Instagram post was about Carlo

Isnt it just. its our own fault though. He is THEE most bang average performer who should be at a brentford or charlton. But he picks up a salary from Everton of someone worth double or triple his worth. And i think he believes the trappings make him some kind of star.
Fella, you landed on your feet with brands silva whoever panic buying. Thats all you were. An over priced over payed panic buy.
Ive never wanted a player out of Everton so much.

The problem IMO is it doesn’t matter if it is or not - it’s how it’s perceived and it doesn’t look great for Iwobi - makes him look petulant and sours relations with the fans.
