A posting on twitter a thinly-disguised complaint about where he's been playing. If his club manager told him to play in goal he should do it and keep any grumbles to himself, all the top professionals do that.

If he were determined enough he wouldn't do what he's done. The level of determination I'd like to see from a player as a supporter is when you don't go on social media griping about what position you're being told to play.

Clearly not ready to be starting games.

Seen it all before with the “Play Gordon” shouts. If he was ready and good enough to be starting the manager would be starting him.

King and Gordon situations entirely different. King is a proven PL player with several seasons playing at that level. l am will8ng to be patient with players and give them time to show, bu it doesn’t look like happening with Iwobi, which I think is a shame. King will probably start on the right next game.

I’ve torched my credibility with this lad. Thought we could find right position for him (which is deffo not wide right), but it looks like it’s not going to happen.

I get IG post isn’t great but not sure he’s had a decent run in best position.

He looks a lot more comfortable as inside left position or at top of diamond. He can carry the ball, which is something we lack in middle but think he’s p*ssed on his chips now.

No doubt, but my guess is he did it knowing he's looking to move come summer.

I think he should explain what exactly he meant by that post. It does appear as if he blames someone other than himself for his poor performance.
