The positive side of that post is that he might sod off to another club that will play him in whatever his correct position is.
 
Weird way to request a transfer but I'm delighted that he wants to sign for Crystal Palace/Fulham/Watford or Brentford (if one or both is promoted). I'm sure one of them will play him in the middle whilst we pay half of his wages.
 
Very sad to see so many exposing themselves to be so incredibly dense. He’s talking about wanting to be played at the 10 again for Nigeria after being moved out wide recently. His snapchat posts today make this crystal clear.

Just like the private jet “controversy” last season, it just seems like people are looking for an excuse to go at Iwobi’s throat. I understand that last night was poor and he could have done better for their first goal but he hardly phones it in does he? I don’t think he’s the answer long term but we’re having our best season in years, have a lie down.

I think he should explain what exactly he meant by that post. It does appear as if he blames someone other than himself for his poor performance.

I don't think it was a wise thing to do.

Be honest mate, I'm not too arsed. It's another stupid post on a social media platform which is filled with stupid posts. I actually kinda hope Iwobi is logged on wetting himself at folk fuming.
 
I just can't see him getting a run at number ten he just doesn't produce enough there he could carry the ball but lacks the guile he is a decent player but he is not getting in ahead of Sig or James.

Let Iwobi take all the corners and penalties and he's probably at least produced what Sigurdsson has. Gylfi has 2 goals and 1 assist from open play in the league. The Spurs cup game was an aberration. I don't think he's had another multi-assist game with us.

I can't believe we are back to this discussion tbh. I thought it was well established that we overrate Gylfi on goals and assists.

I'm not Sig's biggest fan he is a player of moments he doesn't get involved enough in a lot of open play though its true. But he does know the role, is useful on set pieces and I'm just telling you Iwobi won't be picked there by Carlo. I was crying out for Iwobi as a ten or in a three last season because he can carry the ball but he hasn't shown enough on the wing and I just don't think he will offer enough final product there going by what we have seen. He won't get a go on the left over Richy either. But whatever we need better I would play King for now if James is out.

Yeah I agree aside from the knows his role part, that's just crazy to me, the guy knows his job is to do next to nothing and bang some corners in.

I also think he can't play the wing so he can't play the middle is weird logic. It would be applied to forwards or defenders I don't think, but Carlo seems set on it. King will give us nothing.

What an absolute crock of sh!te. I know absolutely zip about his off field stuff apart from whats posted on here. Even then i dont care. Everything is about his half arsed efforts on the pitch. Why do you think he gets subbed every single time he's selected to start? Coz he never leaves it all out there. Bare minimum player. Its just a shame our options are so limited that he gets included. In nearly two years here i think he's turned up twice. 45 mins v fulham. 45 mins v brighton. Apart from that i think he's been carried in the side by others. Doucoure isnt the best player in the world but people never throw at him what they throw at iwobi. Coz he gives it everything.
Fraud. And the sooner you get those out your club the better. Go jog round the pitch elsewhere for someone else.
 
For me Iwobi is somewhere between a winger and a 10. Unfortunately he's not skilful enough to be a winger and I could never see him playing balls like Sigurdsson did for Bernard and Richarlison recently. In a midfield he would be a long way down the pecking order. On the left I would play Richarlison and Bernard first and when Gordon returns he would be ahead of him as well. He is only playing on the right wing because James is injured or right wing back because Coleman is injured. He should be grateful he is playing out of position otherwise he would be on the bench.

For me he's somewhere between an Instagram influencer and a Sunday league standard footballer.
