Came on when we were under the cosh and contributed by giving the ball away every single time he touched it. Zero successful passes or dribbles.

Proper blue you not ripping into him. Wish I was as good as you lad.

It's got nothing to do with "ripping into him", Doucoure had a shocking first 20 minutes or so then gradually got into the game and played well.

Iwobi was on for 5 minutes or so and struggled to get into it like the rest of the team at the time who were dropping further and further back.

Iwobi was good in mid week too after a dodgy start. It can happen.

Was a proper liability when he came on, it's like he needs a good hour before he settles into a game like at Fleetwood, coming on in nervy games when there's only one goal in it isn't a good thing for him or us or me lol

I agree with you there but fans throwing pelters when James was knackered and we needed fresh legs. We seen the game out pretty well the last 15 minutes and everyone is working for one another. There is obviously some pressure on him. I think he will prove his value though the course of this season with better players around him. We should be rejoicing a good hard earned victory.

I’d rather Anthony Gordon on the bench. More pace and a much better footballing brain then Iwobi.

Of course I'm made up we battled to keep the 3 points, I hope he does come good, but that was a nervous 5/10 minutes with him constantly giving the ball away, and obviously he's not going to be a like for like replacement for James but I'd like him to be able to pass a ball to an Everton player once we've got control of it again
