He was sharp Wednesday to be fair to him. Might have been a bit tired from Fleetwood. Still should be in better shape though coming into this one if that’s the case. Looked sluggish

The point missed by him is if any injury happened 30 mins from the end we would have had 30 mins of that performance.
There is not much more to say really though about him.
We payed 30m for a caribou cup player to play so we can rest the better players.

We really looked short of squad player, Siggy did OK, Iwobi just gave the ball away and Davies was null and void.
Having said that our first eleven stuck to our task today and hung on to take a deserved win, just.

I don’t know what he was supposed to do when he was brought on? He literally gave the ball away 4 times. More than most did in the full 90 minutes. Maybe just the wrong game for him to come on in.

No point in me reiterating the obvious criticism of that "performance", so I will look on the bright side in that it was only a 5 minute cameo in a very fast-paced game and he never got up to speed.

Ball just pinged off him twice and he volleyed into the opposition. A horrible cameo.

He had his one good game this season v Fleetwood the other night, mind you we might draw a lower league team in the fa cup later on in the season.
