I think he is another player not being used properly by Everton. He is not a lone striker. It’s not his game, he needs players around him. Iwobi improved when played in his best position. McNeill prefers to play centrally too.

To be honest it's taken us a fair few years of experiments to find a position iwobi is decent enough in.

Maupay is 27 soon we also don't have the luxury to experiment and he won't really improve now.

I don't see mcneil having the physicality and athleticism to work centrally.

Terrible, terrible player. He runs about a lot (i did that when i was younger, but it didn't mean that i was Premier League quality). He does nowt else, but because he runs about a bit more than he used to some people think he's good. The fact that he's a regular starter shows that we are (in all but name.......for now) a Championship side!

He’s been coasting this season on the back of half a dozen decent performances towards the end of last season. And as usual the response is to offer him an improved contract and extension.
