He's actually better when he's played deeper. He sees more of the ball and is less erratic.
I'm convinced his form at the start of the season was mostly down to that. He just saw the ball and didn't rush it every time he had it.

That's problem with Iwobi playing at his best is not good enough for this standard of football but it is for Everton It's odd how he has managed to reset his reputation between August to November after having two season of abstract at times disinterested performances.
