It's very weird to me that you seem to think positions in football don't matter
Not as much as you're claiming.
His improvement has been amazing, but im sorry, its not simply due to him being moved position.

Im just not willing to forget how rubbish he was for 3 years like other people.

Seems strange given the fact that he was obviously miffed at one point 18 months ago that we weren't playing him in his 'preferred' position?
