Just can’t get my head around the Iwobi hate and I can’t say I’m a huge lover of him but can certainly see what he offers and has filled in RW/LM/CM/rwb/lwb during his time here.

Taking the Fulham game in isolation - he creates nearly every single chance for us.

In a team with people who can score goals he will be a great asset. It won’t be here though - if he doesn’t sign a contract then we need to cash in.

Notice how Villa are just taking it to the byline every time and getting free crosses while Iwobi takes the ball, cuts back, slows the play down and the chance is gone. Villa showing exactly why this guy needs to go. That and his delivery is crap 99 percent of the time. Ugh

Garner plays two dream switches to him and he has loads of space. What does he do? Stop the ball, cutback, slow the play down and allow everyone to get into position and deliver an absolute crapsterpiece of a ball.

Does he ever have a game where he is remotely effective? Sure. Is he by any means a decent footballer? No. He holds the team back massively in so many games. People are upset that we are going after so many wingers well there you go. Now we know.
