If you are going to link a massive video leave a time stamp. Also, there is no manager that doesn’t try to threaten out wide if they have the tools at the disposal. Iwobi is out wide the majority of the time. Not beating players
Figure it out or don’t, doesn’t matter to me.

If you are going to make a claim link a time stamp this isn’t politics I won’t bite mate. Otherwise you don’t make a convincing argument telling me to just watch an entire video about tactics that nobody cares about. Those are usually fluff.

And Lampard and Benitez and Carlo. Look I’m not saying he’s the greatest player to live but we have always misunderstood what he does. I even think he can work as a wide player but the way you get in behind is by him passing runners and moving off of players not by trying to generate 1v1 dribbling opportunities against a fullback. The position isn’t as important as the job and we ask him to do a job he’s not good at and act shocked when he’s not good at it. Always a management problem.

I pray Everton one day has competent management again just so everyone can be fully aware of how bad it has been in recent years. It’ll be like when your contact/glasses prescription gets fine tuned (those who know will know) and suddenly everything is so much clearer.
Lol. Carlo Ancelotti, one of the most decorated managers in history was incompetent because he could use Alex Iwobi properly. Or, or, could it be that Iwobi just ain't very good? No? The multi champions league winning, big five league winning manager is an incompetent, got it.

Dyche doesn't want his wingers on the byline. He wants them tucked in to prevent the other team from opening them up in transition. Whether Iwobi is capable of beating his man, getting to the byline and getting a cross in is sort of irrelevant.

Iwobi plays wing for Dyche because he works hard and defends. Same with McNeil. Neither gets to the byline, and both are much more dangerous in the middle of the pitch. They both play exactly how they're asked which is why they're always on the pitch when healthy.
Difference is McNeill scores goals. Iwobi doesn't.

He is useless. Symptomatic of our decline. No end product and actually stops attacks with his slow decision making.
I used to live with an arsenal fan when they were regularly in the champions league and we used to watch the games together. Iwobi absolutely stood out as the worst player in their team. Just ran into dead ends and gave the ball away endlessly. Was gobsmacked when we signed him.

The sheer arrogance of him even thinking that is hilarious

We are just slow as hell and never beat our men. At least Dwight can cut in and score. Iwobi has plenty of opportunities to take on his man and he doesn’t because he never beats them or threatens them for pace.

His best games out wide were his games at RWB, Brighton and Fulham. Why? Because he didn’t have to think and could just bust a gut and move forward into the open space. Put him in a position where he has to beat someone on the dribble or with a good run? He freezes.
